The wireless sensor nodes are developed by the ITEM under Professor Rainer Laur.

 

 

Biography:

After having received his degree in electrical engineering at University of Aachen, Germany in 1977 he started his career as project manager for R&D projects at Philips in Hamburg. In 1978 he became a professor for electronics at University for Applied Sciences in Dortmund. Since 1989 he is a full professor for microelectronics and electrical engineering at University of Bremen. Simulation, modelling, design of microelectronic circuits and microsystems are key aspects of his extensive research work, which he also published as author (and co-author) of more than 200 articles in national and international journals and at numerous conferences. As member of program committees of national and international conferences he is involved in the development and organisation of more than 20 symposia.
